OK, I'll try and live with the Garamond font for a bit and see how I get

Sand no more

Well that gets rid of the "Sand" colour scheme...
The purples are good, but need fine tweaking when I have a bit more time.

Squeeze...

I like this template already.... The style sheet is defined in the HTML, so I can tweak on the fly much more easily.
1st tweak - set the side pane to 25% width rather than 33%!
